As I should have known, picking that arsewagon Phyllis Rivers to bring victory to his team, at home, against an Oakland squad that has won like 6 games since 2004 was a mistake.
I should just label all San Diego games as traps, bet the opposite, and let the good times roll.
This guy is killing me. |
I'd like to say I will not make that mistake again but then I'd be a liar.
Minnesota Vikings (-2) @ Chicago Bears
A wise man from the Old Country once told me:
"Son, don't bet on crappy teams to beat good ones."
Don't overthink this one my friends. Take the Vikings to win and cover.
New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints (-3)
2 major events occurred in the last couple weeks to these teams.
#1: Somebody told Eli Manning that he plays for my fantasy team and he decided to start sucking. Horribly.
#2: Drew Brees remembered that he is not simply a short version of Zach Mettenberger.
The Giants are coming off a big (albeit largely undeserved) win against a division foe and are due for a letdown game.
Yep. I hitched my wagon to this guy. |
Arizona Cardinals (-5) @ Cleveland Browns
Let me get this straight. We are going into week 8 of the NFL season and Carson Palmer is still not hurt?
Ben Carson is right. The End Days are nigh....
The perfect gift for all young Browns fans. |
Indianapolis Colts @ Carolina Panthers (-6)
It is entirely possible that Indianapolis can go 7-9 and still win their division by 3 games.
The Panthers, on the other hand, could go 13-3 and end up as a wild card.
Indy needn't win a single game against a non-division foe this year and their playoff seeding would be unchanged. They don't need this game and couldn't win it even if they did.
And that, my friends, is why I suspect:
Panthers win and cover.
Week 7 Record: 3-1
Season Record: 19-9
Trap Game Record: 4-3
